Liightworker? Bringing back the ‘human’ to humanity.
Will you commit?
I adopted the name and created my own little concept around the term ‘Lightworker’ because it is a way for people to come together who want to be a part of something beautiful in the world and want to live in a positive and happy mindset. It’s also perfect for those of us who are currently feeling a little lost, a little defeated, overwhelmed or a little down because it gives you a place to go. It offers us all a wonderful purpose to help guide us while we are still understanding our life and working out what our true gifts are, and while our purpose unfolds.
Do you need supplements to reach your health and fitness goals, whether performance, physique or lifestyle related?
The answer can be both depending on a number of factors. Things like your overall dietary intake, the source/quality of the food you are eating, whether your demands are higher based on your activity level, your individual body requirements, your lifestyle, and most importantly, preference.
I don't think we need anymore 12 week challenges, 30 day shreds, 7 day slim-downs, 6 week booty programs etc.
What we do need and what I think is lacking is more HEALTH coaches! More trainers who are committed to overall health and wellness- physical, social, spiritual, etc and helping people better their lives and gain clarity.
Move By Minerva really is an extension of me. It's the same approach of simplicity and doing small things consistently so that we can be at our best, and therefore bring our best.
There is no hype, no fluff, no clever marketing, no BS claims, no creating urgency or FOMO (fear of missing out), no manipulation or self worth promises. It just simply is what it is and helps with healthy ageing.
BRINGING BACK THE FEELING AND FEEL GOOD TO FITNESS
Workouts for the Body, Mind, and Soul? Yes puhhhlease!
Welcome to my updated, revised, best ever........‘Lightworker Training Series’.
Anyone who trains with me, or has trained with me, or done my workouts will tell you, my workouts are LEGIT! I am constantly writing new training programs because I love moving my body, challenging myself, and creating badass new routines that make me FEEL good.
Being a lifestyle athlete and total badass means you train in a way that makes you feel strong, feel accomplished, and FEELS GOOD!
Hands up my little Lightworkers!
Trying to explain what I do in a small box on my home page was just don’t going to happen so I decided to write my novel in a blog for those whose interest was tweaked.
I have always been ‘advised’ to shorten my posts, get to the point, and narrow things down when writing and trying to build my brand and reach my audience. Same goes with photos, show more of your physique, edit your photos so they ‘pop’, yada yada yada. So while I agree marketing (aka manipulation) definitely works and can generate a bigger audience which = cha ching more cashola, it just didn’t vibe with me.
Fill your social media and home pages with profiles and people who make you feel good, who challenge you to think deeper, who encourage you to work on yourself, to be the best person you can be, and who allow you to feel more connected to a greater purpose and passion.
There are so many beautiful people and profiles that draw you in and look good from the outside, but if you pay attention you'll realise they are doing nothing more that keeping you focused purely on how your body looks and how much you apparently are lacking when it comes to material things.
Be proud of your body, love your body, accept your body...don't get me wrong these are all great sentiments with mostly goodwill behind them, however I can't seem to get on board with these messages entirely because I think we should be more concerned with WHY the fuck are we so focused and concerned with how our body 'looks' purely on the outside in the first place?
Society pushes the idea that to be happy and successful you need either a perfect body, lots of money, and fame (either celebrity or social recognition), but what most of these things require are for the majority of people (if they are truthful with themselves) are certainly not worth the sacrifice.
Most of you know that I rarely use 'Before and After' photos to promote my business and services, because as a health and fitness professional it does not represent a complete health and wellness result. It simply just shows a 'physical' transformation.
I have worked with this lady for 12 months...yup, that's right 1 WHOLE ENTIRE YEAR! She is a mother of SIX children, a wife to a FIFO, AND is studying to become an accountant.
Her 'Before' story:
Today I was looking through Marcus's iPhone album on the computer. As I clicked through the photos I realized how many photos of me never really 'made the cut'. Not that I go to outrageous efforts taking photos but I still (like everyone) judge my photos harshly against all the perfect photos of people with perfect outfits, perfect hair, perfect make up and perfect angles.
